Our work
Pool service work in Queen Creek, Arizona.
Pool Dads runs weekly routes through Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, and east Gilbert. Below is the work we do — the pool types we service, the equipment we maintain, and the neighborhoods we cover. As real customer photo permissions come in, this page will fill with before-and-after work from local pools.
Pool types we service
Every Queen Creek pool is its own animal.
East valley pools fall into a handful of distinct patterns depending on neighborhood, build year, and tree cover. The right chemistry, equipment cadence, and brush schedule changes for each. Here's how we adjust by pool type.
Pebble-Tec salt pools
3 areasHastings Farms · Spur Cross · Crismon Heights
Newer builds with salt chlorination, cartridge filters, and variable-speed pumps. We log salt cell efficiency every visit so replacement happens on your schedule, not a 110° emergency.
Plaster pools with DE filters
2 areasPecan Creek · Cortina
Established pools, often 10-20 years old. DE grids need a partial recharge after every backwash and a full tear-down annually. We carry DE on the truck.
Spa-pool combos
2 areasEncanterra · select Power Ranch homes
Bonded water passes through both bodies — cheap meters get confused by it. We test each separately when valves are in spa-only mode and dose hardness independently.
Pools under heavy tree load
2 areasThe Pecans · mature Cortina lots
Pecan and olive trees mean year-round leaf load and phosphate-rich debris. We brush walls every visit and test phosphates monthly so chlorine demand stays manageable.
Wind-exposed pools
1 areasSan Tan Heights
Pools against the San Tan Mountains fight blown dust and palm debris year-round. CYA drifts up fast; we partial-drain when it climbs past 80 to keep chlorine effective.
Standard mid-2010s builds
2 areasQueen Creek Station · Power Ranch
Tightly-clustered cul-de-sacs, mostly 8-14k gallon pools with cartridge filters. Predictable equipment, predictable chemistry, predictable routing.
Equipment we service every week
We know what's on your equipment pad.
East valley pads come in maybe a dozen common configurations. Pool Dads techs are trained on the brands and models you actually find behind Queen Creek homes — not generic textbook hardware.
- Pentair IntelliFlo / IntelliCenter automation
- Hayward salt chlorinators (T-Cell-9 / 15)
- Jandy variable-speed pumps + RS automation
- Cartridge filter housings (Pentair Clean & Clear, Hayward SwimClear)
- DE filters (Pentair FNS Plus, Hayward Perflex)
- Sand filters on older Queen Creek pools
- Heat pumps and gas heaters (Pentair MasterTemp, Raypak)
- In-floor cleaning systems (A&A QuikClean, Paramount PCC2000)
Where we service
10 weekly routes across the east valley.
We don't run a sprawling route map. Tight routing keeps arrival times consistent, lets us send the same tech every visit, and means we know the equipment in each neighborhood inside-out.
